Stuttgart, 27 July 2012. Dr. Albrecht Bamler (54) will be the new Head of Communications of the Porsche Automobil Holding SE, Stuttgart, starting 1st August 2012. Bamler is an experienced communications professional, who acted as Press Spokesperson and Head of Corporate Communications for the former Daimler subsidiary MTU Friedrichshafen over the period 1987 to 2001, and from 2001 to 2003 in the same function for the Salamander AG in Kornwestheim. He was Head of the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG Corporate Press Department from 2003 to 2008 and subsequently nominated Press Spokesman of Porsche Automobil Holding SE in 2009. In 2011, he assumed responsibility for the sector Politics and External Affairs of Porsche AG.
Wolfgang Glabus (52), previous Head of Communications at Porsche SE, will join the Volkswagen Group, becoming effective on 1st August 2012.
